Ten Steps to Better Fitness

If you Want to Be healthier; you need to do ALL of the following.

Sometimes doing these things can be inconvenient. They can cost you time or money; and they may not be as much fun as other things that you might do: but you can't have too much fun when you are really sick, or worse still -dead!

  • Eat healthy foods which you are not allergic or sensitive to, which provide all the necessary nutrients in adequate but not excessive amounts. Avoid food additives or polluted foods. Eat fresh food. Store food properly to avoid contamination.
  • Eat in moderation -eating too much can be just as bad as eating too little.
  • Exercising all parts of the body -when some muscles are extra strong, and others remain extra weak, the body can become out of balance. Bones can be pulled into positions they should not be in. Nerves can be pinched. Vigorous movement is important to exercise heart and lungs, but gentle, frequent stretching can be just as important to other aspects of health. 
  • Exercising in moderation -vigorous exercise can be just as bad for you as no exercise.
  • Resting the body allows it to recover from physical stress or exertion
  • Relaxing the mind allows it to recover from emotional or mental stress or exertion
  • Developing a positive attitude.
  • Dwell in a Healthy Environment - clean, fresh air; unpolluted surroundings, avoidance of allergens and other environmental issues can contribute to overall health; more than what many people realize.
  • Monitor Your Wellbeing -follow recommendations for check ups with medical practitioners
  • Adress Problems Before they Grow - when an illness or health risk is identified and adressed; the problem is far less likely to become serious.
